Most people come through our doors looking to “Lose weight”
“Lose weight” is a very vague target/goal to set. In fitness it is easy to get discouraged by the dreaded “scale” but the scale doesn’t tell the whole story. If you are going to measure anything you have to measure lean body mass, body fat percentage and water weight. The Inbody 270 does just that adding to it the capacity to see the lean mass of each limb separately and see any imbalances.
Unlike water submersion tests we’ve taken, this is non-invasive. We don’t have to change into a bathing suit, lay in a tank of water feeling claustrophobic or anxiety over being submerged under water blowing all air out of our lungs for an accurate read, you don’t have to test 3 times to get a median reading, you don’t have to bring a towel or extra change of clothes or a blow dryer and a brush for your hair. InBody gold standard reading gets the same results in less time more affordably.
Importantly, this data is wonderful to have but virtually useless to you without attaching appropriate goals based on this data. SEGMENTAL LEAN MASS ANALYSIS
We can identify how many pounds of lean mass are in each body segment through Segmental Lean Analysis and use this data to look for any imbalance between corresponding segments (ex. Right Arm, Left Arm) for balanced muscle development.
TRACK BODY COMPOSITION CHANGES
Every scan is automatically updated with each athlete’s Body Composition History and the changes over time are shown on the InBody results sheet. This chart will record the a user’s Weight, Skeletal Muscle Mass, and Percent Body Fat from the last 8 tests to measure progress over time.
